Before & After Pt. 2
After 7.5 weeks, I was cleared to workout by my doctor. I knew I needed a plan to get myself in the right mindset. So, I committed to the below:
Tracking my macros in MyFitnessPal
Following my carb cycling meal plans
2 days a week working out at LIFT (personal training and weight circuits)
2 days a week and doing a spin & strength class on my Peloton
The left photo is July 16 and I was 148 pounds. The right is from August, 25th and 136 pounds. I took weekly photos to gauge my progress below! Photos have always helped keep me motivated when the scale may not be moving.
I am still exclusively breastfeeding Emerson, which I have learned may mean my body is holding on to a few pounds of extra fat. Totally worth it! I know food is the most important aspect in any health journey so I am giving myself grace when weekends don’t always go as planned and will check back in in a few more weeks!
